Overview

This proposal for 9 flats on a brownfield site was driven by consideration of the privacy of the existing neighbouring houses, as well as making good use of natural light. The building was set far enough back from its neighbours to enable their windows not to be overlooked. Balconies to the south and large openings bring in sunlight, whilst good defensible space to the road gives privacy and security to ground floor flats. A pleasant, enclosed communal amenity space enables recreation and play in a safe environment.
